The first month of the Myanmar calendar is "Tagu" (April).
It is the time of the Water Festival & Myanmar New Year Day falls in the month of Tagu.
Tagu corresponds to April. Thingyan Festival is also called Atar Festival. " Thingyan " means change - changing from one place to another. " Atar " means the period or time during which the old year is changed into new year.

May we take this opportunity to wish you Water Festival & Myanmar New Year.
